As a loss parent, people often assume I am against abortion. I’m not.

I am pro-choice because bodily autonomy matters. No one should ever have to carry a pregnancy against their will.

I also believe that a fetus is a person. My son was a person, even though he died before he was born.

Life is sometimes complicated, and this situation is one of the most complex. But this is what I believe.
